Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Sergei Dronov and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lance lands with a hook. Cruz tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Lance fails with the takedown.
Cruz shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Lance sprawls well. Lance wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Cruz gets slowly back to his feet.
Cruz gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Cruz goes for a takedown in the clinch but Lance prevents it.
Lance is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

Cruz wants to take the fight to the mat but Lance manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Sailo Lance has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Georg Cruz.
Cruz has Lance pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Lance manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Cruz goes for a takedown in the clinch but Lance prevents it.

Lance gets underhooks to prevent Cruz's takedown attempt.
Cruz is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Cruz has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Lance after a bit of a struggle.
Cruz is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Lance to keep the fight standing.

Cruz has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Lance avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Cruz prevents Lance from breaking the clinch.
Lance jumps guard and drags Cruz to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Cruz postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Lance is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Cruz, into his guard.
Lance in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Cruz keeping moving, preventing Lance from controlling successfully.
Cruz has a closed guard, preventing Lance from standing up.
Cruz working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Lance doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Lance manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Cruz is looking for a triangle but Lance pushes his legs off easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Lance is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Cruz has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Lance is looking to defend but Cruz has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Lance! Cruz pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Lance taps out and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Georg Cruz!
Georg Cruz tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
