A fine choice. The crowd seem to be enjoying Sosha's choice of entrance music: Hysteria-Muse. Leonardo Ferreira could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Ryan Sosha's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Leonardo Ferreira!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ryan Sosha!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Dillan Fox and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A solid body kick from Ferreira.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Sosha.
Sosha tries for a takedown but Ferreira sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Sosha on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Ferreira throws a front kick that sends Sosha stumbling back into the cage.
Ferreira lands with a hook. Sosha tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Sosha takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Sosha looks gassed!
Ferreira connects with a body shot.
Ferreira scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Ferreira lands a nice shot to the body.
Sosha takes one to the side of the head.
Leonardo Ferreira seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Sosha on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Ferreira. Ferreira obviously looking to wear him down.
Ferreira cracks Sosha with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Ferreira has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Sosha to stand back up!
Sosha is rocked!
It looks like Ryan Sosha has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Ferreira is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Sosha flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Sosha is out cold! Ferreira holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Leonardo Ferreira!
During a confident post fight interview, Leonardo Ferreira thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
