Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Will Dearborn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andy Dwyer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dwyer is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Dave Matthews Band - You Might Die Trying. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Andy Dwyer!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Chris Downing and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dwyer loads up on a big right hand but Dearborn slips the punch.
Dearborn keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Dwyer rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Dearborn counters with a straight right hand.
Dwyer throws a right and a left that both miss.
Dwyer misses with a two punch combination.
Dearborn lands a really nice looking cross but Dwyer seems unphased.
Dwyer throws a jab but it's blocked by Dearborn.
Dearborn lands with a straight right. Dwyer didn't see that one coming.
Dearborn slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Some wild striking there from Dwyer.
Dwyer throws an off balance right hand
and Dearborn counters with a right hand to the body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Dearborn ducks under a wild hook from Dwyer.
Dwyer misses the jab.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Dwyer is looking to break free of the clinch but Dearborn has double underhooks.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Dearborn.
Dearborn scores with a shot to the side of Dwyer's head.
Dwyer is rocked!
Nice body punch from Dearborn - that landed with a thud.
Dearborn is fighting off a takedown attempt but Dwyer is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Dearborn to the mat. Dearborn regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Dearborn is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Dwyer must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Will Dearborn.

Dwyer throws a front kick aimed at Dearborn's knee but Dearborn avoids it well.
Dwyer misses with a few strikes there.
Dwyer swings for the body but Dearborn moves out of range.
Dwyer misses the jab.
Dearborn moves away from the strike by Dwyer.
That kick from Dearborn tenderised Dwyer's leg. Dwyer is trying to keep his angry face on.
Dwyer is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Dwyer throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
A solid leg kick lands there for Dearborn.
Dwyer throws a right hand that Dearborn ducks under and follows up with a left that Dearborn also avoids with ease.
Dwyer misses with a series of wild punches.
Dwyer takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Dwyer takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
