Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mr Jiu Jitsu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Raje Malapitan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mr Jiu Jitsu! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Raje Malapitan! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Trevor Gratis and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Malapitan closes this distance looking for a takedown but Jiu Jitsu circles away. Malapitan with a lazy takedown attempt and Jiu Jitsu makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Malapitan closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Jiu Jitsu quickly recovers to half guard. Jiu Jitsu trying to control here.
Jiu Jitsu actively working from the bottom here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Malapitan is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Jiu Jitsu tries to get to full guard but Malapitan has control of the leg. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Malapitan is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Jiu Jitsu doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Malapitan. Jiu Jitsu is trying is best to control the position here. Jiu Jitsu tries to roll over but Malapitan keeps him under control. Malapitan is nestled in close to Jiu Jitsu, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
That's one minute gone in the round. Malapitan sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Jiu Jitsu defending well though. The fighters are battling for position here. Jiu Jitsu manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Malapitan postures up.
Malapitan throws a sloppy strike and Jiu Jitsu has hooked up an armbar on the loose arm! He's turned and extended fully! Malapitan is forced to tap! Great BJJ from Jiu Jitsu!
