The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Donald Grub and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kovalainen drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Kovalainen throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Social struggling a bit here.
Social is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Kovalainen asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Kovalainen working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Kovalainen looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Kovalainen wants to control for a moment but Social uses the opportunity to move back to half guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Social working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Kovalainen is doing well to defend. Social seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Kovalainen is forced to tap and this one is over!
