Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ivan Solntsev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Maybe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Solntsev comes to the cage accompanied by Hollywood Undead . We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Frank Maybe! The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Viktor Lagutenko and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Solntsev paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Nice uppercut lands for Solntsev. That snapped Maybe's head back.
Solntsev gets caught napping as Maybe dives in and scores a takedown. Solntsev manages to retain guard. Maybe is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Solntsev is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Solntsev had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Maybe defends it easily. Solntsev is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Maybe forces his way into half guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Solntsev connects with a right hand. Maybe shakes it off. Solntsev misses with a double jab.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Frank Maybe. Solntsev goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Solntsev scores with a jab to the jaw. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Solntsev throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Maybe shoots in and drives through. Solntsev sprawls well. Solntsev is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Maybe fails with the takedown. Ivan Solntsev is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Maybe is breathing heavily. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Solntsev scores with a body shot.

He's got his arms around Maybe's waist but Maybe gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Solntsev off to one side. Maybe takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

A close second round but Frank Maybe will probably get the nod - 10:9. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!
Maybe looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Solntsev throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Solntsev stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Solntsev wants it to stay on the feet. Nice takedown defense from Solntsev. No joy for Maybe on that attempt. Ivan Solntsev has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Frank Maybe. Solntsev connects with a nice looking jab.
Maybe looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Solntsev is fending him off so far but Maybe persists. Nope, Solntsev circles away and we're back to standing. Solntsev thuds his right hand into Maybe's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Solntsev lands with a good body shot. Maybe shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Solntsev as he jumps to the side. Solntsev throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Maybe stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Solntsev throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Maybe takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Maybe avoids a punch combination nicely.
Maybe drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. No joy there for Solntsev, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Maybe shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Solntsev napping and manages to drive through into side control! Solntsev is trying to control Maybe's posture but Maybe avoids it. Solntsev trying to control but Maybe flips him over like a cheap hooker and has his back! Solntsev trying to control the action but Maybe just sinks the hooks in.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Maybe controlling the position well here. Solntsev rolled but Maybe kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.

Maybe slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Maybe has the hooks in. Solntsev is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted. I would not like to be Solntsev right now.

Maybe has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Solntsev's body.
Solntsev turns into Maybe and is now in his guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Solntsev wants to pass the guard but Maybe is keeping the position. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Maybe can do anything to dispel that myth.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Maybe keeping moving, preventing Solntsev from controlling successfully.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Solntsev tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Maybe swivels and escapes. Solntsev misses the jab. Maybe looking to score a takedown here. Solntsev is defending well but Maybe drives through and ends up in Solntsev's guard. Maybe passes easily into side control. Nice work. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Solntsev is being controlled here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Solntsev looks to move to half guard but instead Maybe has passed into mount! Damn! Solntsev is desperately trying to improve his position but Maybe has a good base and remains in mount.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Ivan Solntsev. I think Maybe has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
