Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Reed Richards (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jorge Cachacinha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Reed Richards! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jorge Cachacinha! The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Luis Engracia and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cachacinha drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Cachacinha trying to control but Richards is working from the bottom. Cachacinha throwing strikes but missing. Richards trying to control the position.
Cachacinha avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Richards looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Richards looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Richards tries to roll over but Cachacinha keeps him under control. Cachacinha thows a huge punch but Richards dodges it nicely.

Cachacinha is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Richards wants to improve his position but Cachacinha is controlling well.
Cachacinha is keen to just control but Richards is a slippery customer. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Richards is not content to let Cachacinha control the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Cachacinha shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Richards napping and manages to drive through into side control! Richards is trying to improve his position. You can see the frustration on Richards's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Cachacinha advances to mount. Richards looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back! Cachacinha scores with strikes from the back.
Cachacinha has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Richards just trying to survive but Cachacinha is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.

What can Richards do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
Richards is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Cachacinha gets his way!
Richards is trying to remain composed but Cachacinha is hammering down strikes to the side of his head. Cachacinha keeps control of the position as Richards tries to break free.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Richards tries to roll but Cachacinha sticks to his back.

He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Cachacinha's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Richards. Richards tries to free his leg and advance position but Cachacinha is retaining full guard. Richards is working hard here to advance position. Cachacinha working for a triangle but Richards defends it easily.
Richards advances to half guard. Cachacinha has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Richards is working away from the top position though. Richards is trying to control the action in half guard but Cachacinha is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Cachacinha is trying to maintain the position but Richards is very close to passing his half guard. Richards is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Cachacinha is looking to escape. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Cachacinha kicks Richards off and gets back to his feet. Cachacinha throws a hook but Richards blocks it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jorge Cachacinha showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Cachacinha closes the distance and clinches. Cachacinha has clasped his hands together around Richards's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. Richards manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Cachacinha is defending against the submission attempts here by Richards.
Cachacinha is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Richards trying to control from half guard but Cachacinha is working away. Richards passes the guard and advances to mount! Jorge Cachacinha has got the better of the ground game so far.

Cachacinha fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Richards, pushing him back against the cage. Jorge Cachacinha is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Cachacinha wants the takedown. Richards is fighting it off but Cachacinha persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Richards's guard against the cage. Cachacinha wants to control from the top but Richards keeps moving. Richards looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Cachacinha stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Richards swivels though and keeps the full guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Jorge Cachacinha comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Cachacinha has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
