Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Renan Lima!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mutumbo Seguno!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Seguno darts in and clinches Lima up against the cage.
Seguno misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Lima.
Seguno's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Seguno gets a clinch.
Seguno using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Lima has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Lima has Seguno pressed against the cage.
Seguno pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Lima fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Seguno, pushing him back against the cage.
Lima avoiding damage as Seguno throws knees to the body.
Lima is pushing Seguno up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Seguno lands an elbow inside.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Lima takes an elbow to the forehead.
It looks like Renan Lima has been cut.
Seguno tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Lima avoids it.
Lima drags the fight down to the ground.
Lima might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Lima is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Seguno defends well.
Lima is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Seguno is aware though and is defending well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Seguno wants to stand but Lima has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Lima has his foot on Seguno's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Seguno works his way back into a safe position though.
Seguno wants to control from the top but Lima keeps moving.

Lima had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Seguno defends it easily.

Lima is looking for a triangle but Seguno pushes his legs off easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lima has his feet on Seguno's thighs here. He's pushed Seguno off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Seguno screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!

A very excited looking Renan Lima made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
