Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Alan Glass and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McKnuckle feints and as Smith raises his hands in defense, McKnuckle changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
McKnuckle trying to control the position from guard on top but Smith is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
McKnuckle is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Smith is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
McKnuckle could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Smith is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
McKnuckle might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
McKnuckle drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and McKnuckle jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

McKnuckle feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

McKnuckle had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Smith is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. McKnuckle Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Smith's back instead.

I really don't envy Smith right now.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Smith drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but McKnuckle manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Smith has McKnuckle in his guard.

McKnuckle is trying to control the action in half guard but Smith is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

McKnuckle has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Smith! Can he survive? No! He's out! McKnuckle gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
