The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Podre connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Podre moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Podre drives through and clinches with Euclides against the cage.
Euclides tries to pull guard but Podre won't allow it.
Euclides has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Podre after a bit of a struggle.
Podre breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Podre tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Euclides paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Podre throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Euclides keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Podre.
Podre has Euclides up against the cage in a clinch.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
Euclides jumps guard but Podre stands there with Euclides around his waist. Euclides gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Euclides swats away the attempt to clinch by Podre.
Podre pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Euclides back to the cage. Podre follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Bento Podre seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Podre feints with a jab and clips Euclides right behind the ear with a massive overhand right! Euclides is sent crashing into the canvas and Podre leaps in for the kill! Euclides tries to get to his feet but Podre is just battering him from every conceivable angle. The ref decides that Euclides is in need of a savior and steps in!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bento Podre!
Bento Podre got down on his knees post fight and begged the management for a title shot. 'Please, I want that title shot so bad! Give it to me!'
