Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Kik mAn!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Leandro Rodrigues and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nurjas fails with the takedown.
Nurjas scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. mAn doesn't seem bothered though.
mAn shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Nurjas defends it nicely.
Nurjas looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
mAn throws a predictable looking body shot
and Nurjas counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for mAn!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Nurjas avoids the attempt from mAn to control.
Nurjas controlling the position easily from mount.
mAn tries to get back to half guard but can't.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Nurjas is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Nurjas lands with some strikes.
Nurjas sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
mAn is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Nurjas scores with a couple of good head shots there.
mAn wants to hold on but Nurjas pushes him away.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Nurjas jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but mAn manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Nurjas looks up at the clock and then as mAn takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Nurjas smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Nurjas remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
Nurjas blocks the strikes from mAn.

mAn is trying to control Nurjas's posture but Nurjas avoids it.
mAn prevents Nurjas from moving into mount.
Nurjas stands up and we're back to a striking position.
mAn misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
mAn looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Nurjas wants to get back to full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Nurjas is pressing down on mAn's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Nurjas wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Nurjas is working an open guard so mAn takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Nurjas closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Nurjas lands in his opponent's guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Nurjas has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of mAn is proving hard to escape from.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

mAn fails with a takedown attempt.
Nurjas wants to clinch.
Nurjas manages to get an easy takedown there - catching mAn on his heels. He'll look to pass mAn's guard now, I'm sure.

mAn is looking for a triangle but Nurjas pushes his legs off easily.

Nurjas tries to free his leg and advance position but mAn is retaining full guard.

mAn looking for subs off his back but Nurjas has passed one foot through into half guard.
mAn is breathing heavily.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Nurjas in particular looking to stall.
Nurjas is trying for a kimura here. mAn looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Nurjas wins by kimura!
