The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Alvarez counters with a nice body shot.

It looks like Free Win has been cut.

Alvarez looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Alvarez working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Win 's head.

Win is rocked!
Alvarez sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Win 's guard.
Alvarez slips a nice elbow through Win 's hands, connecting with Win 's forehead.
Win is still in real trouble! Can Alvarez finish him?
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Alvarez lands a nice short elbow.

Alvarez stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Win to get to his feet.
Win seems to have recovered his senses.
Win moves to clinch but Alvarez breaks away

and Alvarez counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Win !
Alvarez postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Win in real trouble here! The ref calls for Win to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
