Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ariel Piechocki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alceu Gouveia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Piechocki comes to the cage accompanied by Gladiator. Alceu Gouveia told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Alceu Gouveia!
The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Thiago Cunha and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Piechocki lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Piechocki has Gouveia up against the cage in a clinch.
Piechocki escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Ariel Piechocki seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Piechocki lands a jab-cross combination.
It looks like Alceu Gouveia has been cut.
Gouveia blocks a low kick nicely.
Gouveia dives in and grabs Piechocki's left leg, looking for a takedown. Piechocki pushes down on Gouveia's head and hops out.
Piechocki fails with the takedown.
The fighters circle, before Piechocki throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Gouveia's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Piechocki lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
