Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Peter Tic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Abue AiTiKon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tic is coming into this fight with a significant injury, which will no doubt have an effect on his cardio. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 8 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Abue AiTiKon!
The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Fedor Mirinova and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
AiTiKon scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Tic is breathing heavily.
The fight stays on the outside here - AiTiKon looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
AiTiKon leaves Tic with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Peter Tic seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
AiTiKon works Tic's body with a nice hook.
AiTiKon closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Tic's guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
AiTiKon slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Tic is not content to let AiTiKon control the position.
AiTiKon lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Tic down.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
AiTiKon wants to lay and pray for a moment but Tic keeps working.
AiTiKon looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Tic is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but AiTiKon is one step ahead and moves to full mount!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, AiTiKon cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
AiTiKon takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Tic is squirming around, avoiding AiTiKon's attempts to control the action.
AiTiKon postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Tic looks a forlorn figure.
AiTiKon is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Tic can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
AiTiKon lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
AiTiKon looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Tic really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
AiTiKon has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Tic's face.
Tic is rocked!

AiTiKon is working for a guillotine from mount but Tic frees his head quite easily.
Oh Tic is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Tic is looking to get to half guard.
AiTiKon looking to control and managing it successfully.
Tic seems to have got his legs back now.
AiTiKon trying to control but Tic is having none of it.
AiTiKon might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Tic kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

AiTiKon with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

AiTiKon can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Tic is looking to escape.
AiTiKon tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
AiTiKon trying to control but he's not successful this time.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
AiTiKon connects with a couple of good shots from mount.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Abue AiTiKon dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Tic shoots in looking for a takedown. AiTiKon tries to sprawl out of it but Tic keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. AiTiKon manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
AiTiKon takes the fight into the clinch.
AiTiKon has Tic pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Tic manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
AiTiKon manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
AiTiKon is trying to control the position from the bottom.
AiTiKon manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Tic manages to get himself to full guard.
Tic controls AiTiKon momentarily but AiTiKon frees himself.

Tic will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Abue AiTiKon has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
AiTiKon looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Tic is fending him off so far but AiTiKon persists. Nope, Tic circles away and we're back to standing.

AiTiKon tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

AiTiKon fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Peter Tic has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Abue AiTiKon.
AiTiKon clinches.
Tic prevents a body shot from AiTiKon.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
AiTiKon gets control of Tic's arms and successfully pulls guard. AiTiKon will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Abue AiTiKon has got the better of the ground game so far.
AiTiKon is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

Tic prevents AiTiKon from getting back to his feet.
AiTiKon utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

AiTiKon is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Tic frees his head nicely. Oh but AiTiKon has switched to an armbar! Tic is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
