Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tom Svenn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Lukens (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Svenn comes to the cage accompanied by We Taking Over. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Leandro Rodrigues and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Svenn fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Lukens sprawls well initially but Svenn persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Lukens is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Svenn pulls his head out easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Svenn not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Lukens tries to get to full guard but Svenn has control of the leg.
Lukens is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Lukens is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Svenn's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Svenn's back!

Lukens had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Svenn is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Lukens Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Svenn's back instead.
Lukens is throwing punches to the body, looking to soften Svenn up.
Svenn is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Lukens gets his way!
