The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Draven scores with the left hand. Mendes knows he should have avoided that one. No luck with that takedown attempt from Mendes. Draven gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Good shot there by Draven. Mendes is trying hard to land a takedown here. Draven sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Mendes is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. That was a close round but I would say that Jesus Mendes will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
