Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Hector Barbosa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mercenary Katarina (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Hector Barbosa!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Mercenary Katarina!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Chris Edwards and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Katarina doesn't manage to clinch there - Barbosa circles away.
Barbosa circles away from the clinch attempt
and Barbosa counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Barbosa working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Katarina keeping moving, preventing Barbosa from controlling successfully.
Barbosa postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Barbosa trying to control but Katarina is working from the bottom.
Barbosa chips away with some ground and pound.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Barbosa won't allow Katarina to get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Barbosa thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Barbosa accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Barbosa works over Katarina with some ground and pound from guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Katarina utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Barbosa drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Barbosa as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Katarina screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Barbosa! Nice submission victory there!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kneebar). Hector Barbosa!
