Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mac Tyson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sigfredo Pineda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tyson comes to the cage accompanied by Punch-Out!!! - Theme Song. Pineda has chosen Now or Never by Dope as his entrance music. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

12 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mac Tyson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

18 - 13 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Sigfredo Pineda!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Robert Douchet and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A swing and a miss from Tyson.
Tyson looks to land a right hand but Pineda moved out of range.
Tyson misses with a lunging right hand
and Pineda finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Pineda tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Pineda shoots in for a takedown but Tyson shows good takedown defense.
Tyson swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Tyson with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Tyson swings for the body but Pineda moves out of range.
Tyson throws a sloppy body shot
and Pineda makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Tyson is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
It looks like Sigfredo Pineda has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
A kick lands to the mid section there for Pineda.
Pineda throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Tyson tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Pineda looks for the body kick but Tyson saw that one coming.
Tyson stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Pineda misses with a low kick.
Tyson fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Pineda manages to avoid it.
Pineda closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Pineda is taking a breather. Tyson says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
The fighters are battling for position here. Tyson manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Pineda wants to control from the top but Tyson keeps moving.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Sigfredo Pineda.
Pineda tries a head kick but it misses.
Pineda gets a clinch.
Pineda with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Tyson manages to break the clinch.
Pineda cracks Tyson with a right hand to the side of the head.
Mac Tyson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Pineda tries to clinch up.
Tyson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Tyson lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Tyson.
Pineda lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.

That has opened up Sigfredo Pineda's cut even more.

Tyson misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Pineda.
Tyson cracks Pineda with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Tyson has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Pineda to stand back up!
Pineda is rocked!
Tyson lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Pineda is looking to close the distance but Tyson sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Pineda crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Pineda is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Knee). Mac Tyson!
