The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Refn fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Lenny, pushing him back against the cage.
Lenny blocks a body shot from Refn.
A short left from Refn.
Lenny prevents a body shot from Refn.
A frustrated look appears on Refn's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Refn tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Lenny avoids it.
A short uppercut from Lenny.

Lenny breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Lenny uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Refn has time to react.
Refn walks into a left hand.
Refn doesn't succeed with the takedown
enabling Lenny to counter with a crisp jab.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Lenny stuns Refn with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Refn is trying hard to land a takedown here. Lenny sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Lenny connects with a right hand. Refn shakes it off.

Refn is rocked!
Lenny takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Lenny throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Refn's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Lenny dives in looking to finish as Refn flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Lenny's strikes! Lenny is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Refn's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Refn was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.
