The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kau swings widly with a right hand
and Ropuia counters with a nice uppercut.
It looks like Damien Kau has been cut.
Ropuia lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Kau at a distance.
Ropuia misses with a takedown attempt
and Kau counters with a single leg into guard. Ropuia didn't expect that.
Kau has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
