Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Arshad Singh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Billy Douglas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Singh comes to the cage accompanied by Check it out. On his way into the cage it seems that Arshad Singh has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Arshad Singh seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
25 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Arshad Singh! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
24 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Billy Douglas! The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Paul Gruel and Josh West.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Douglas goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Douglas feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Singh's calf. Douglas misses with a head kick.
Douglas pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Singh buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Singh swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
enabling Douglas to counter with a crisp jab. Singh throws a hook but Douglas blocks it. Douglas pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Singh lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Douglas uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Singh. Douglas misses with a body punch
and Singh counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Douglas thinking. Douglas takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Singh steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Douglas. Singh avoids the body shot from Douglas.
A head kick misses from Singh. Douglas misses with a hook. Singh ducked under it nicely. Singh closes the distance and pushes Douglas back into the cage. Douglas tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Singh breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
That's one minute gone in the round. Douglas misses with a wild body shot. Douglas throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Douglas connects with an inside leg kick. Singh jabs at Douglas's body. Singh darts in and clinches Douglas up against the cage. Douglas misses with a short punch on the inside. Singh drops down looking for an ankle pick but Douglas pulls his leg out and moves away.
Billy Douglas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A jab from Singh does it's job there. Douglas scores with a nice body kick.
Singh closes the distance and clinches. Douglas lands with a short head shot on the inside. Singh drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Douglas gets the underhooks and prevents it.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Douglas tries a body shot but Singh blocks it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Douglas lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Singh backwards. Singh breaks from the clinch.
Billy Douglas is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Singh wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Douglas is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Singh moves out of range as Douglas strikes. Douglas throws a head kick that misses and Singh counters with a nice double leg into guard. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Singh sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Douglas's guard. Singh trying to control from half guard but Douglas is working away. Singh is working for a kimura but Douglas is defending it quite comfortably.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Douglas is trying to get back to full guard. Singh thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Douglas's head. It looks like Singh is going to stand back up.
Singh trying to mount his opponent but Douglas defends it. Singh is looking to take a break and control but Douglas is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Douglas wants to get back to full guard. Douglas is refusing to be controlled, as Singh sits in half guard. Singh tries to stand but can't do so whilst Douglas controls his leg. Douglas keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Douglas is looking to escape. Douglas taking some punishment here, with Singh in his half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Arshad Singh dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Singh looks for the body kick but Douglas saw that one coming. Douglas scores with a shot to the body.
Douglas throws a body punch but Singh moves out of range. Douglas feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Singhs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Singh shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Douglas defends it nicely. Singh closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Singh lands in his opponent's guard. Singh controls from within his opponent's guard. Singh stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Douglas swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Singh preventing the sweep. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Douglas holds on and takes a little breather. Singh engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
We're going to have a standup here because Arshad Singh wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Singh staying out of range there. Douglas connects with a body shot that sends Singh's belly button to the back. Singh throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Douglas sees it coming and avoids it easily. A head kick by Douglas misses and Singh counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters. Nice jab there from Douglas.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Singh blocks a head kick by Douglas.

Douglas stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Douglas wants it to stay on the feet. Douglas goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Billy Douglas seems to be getting the better of the standup. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Singh closes the distance but Douglas moves to the side enabling Douglas to counter with a crisp jab. Singh gets a takedown into half guard. Douglas wants to get back to his feet.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Singh is just content to waste time from the top position. Douglas takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. Singh controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Singh stops Douglas from standing up. Arshad Singh overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Douglas wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Singh is now in half guard. Douglas is pressing down on Singh's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Singh seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Douglas pulls Singh in close to prevent any damage. Singh trying to stand up but can't free himself from Douglas's guard. Douglas wants to sweep here but Singh controlling him for the moment. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Singh with a flurry of punches that miss. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Billy Douglas will probably get the nod - 10:9. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Singh throws a push kick but Douglas slaps the foot to one side. Douglas wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. A momentary lapse in concentration from Douglas enables Singh to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Douglas manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Singh throws a big elbow that misses. Singh wanted to stand there but Douglas had control of the position. Singh looking to sit in guard and control but Douglas gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Douglas stands up from guard. Let's bang!

Singh fails with a takedown attempt. Singh doesn't manage to clinch there - Douglas circles away.
Singh tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Douglas manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Singh lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Douglas backs up against the cage.
Singh will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Singh shoots in and drives through. Douglas sprawls well. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Douglas throws a right hand that Singh ducks under and follows up with a left that Singh also avoids with ease. Singh lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Singh keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Singh displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Douglas throws out the jab. Singh misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Arshad Singh. That's going to take a lot out of him. Singh rushes Douglas and presses him up against the cage. A head punch blocked on the inside by Singh. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Douglas. Douglas lands on the inside with an uppercut. Douglas lands a hook to the side of the head. Douglas lands a left hand.

A frustrated look appears on Singh's face as he tries to break the clinch. Douglas misses with a punch to the body.

Singh is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Douglas tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Singh's elbow. Douglas working aggressively here.

Douglas lands a hook to the side of the head. Singh tries to break free but Douglas pushes him back against the cage. Douglas doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Douglas swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Singh blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Singh has hold of one of Douglas's legs. Douglas is fighting the takedown attempt but Singh gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. Singh looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Singh is fighting to break Douglas's control of his arms but Douglas is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Billy Douglas. I think Douglas has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
