Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Rob Dyrdek! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jens Johansson! The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Tarja Halkonen and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dyrdek throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Johansson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Johansson lands a jab to the nose. Dyrdek shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Johansson napping and manages to drive through into side control! Johansson avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Dyrdek. Dyrdek misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Johansson taking punishment in the form of punches.

Johansson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dyrdek. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Johansson struggling a bit here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Johansson parries the strikes from Dyrdek easily there. Dyrdek is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Johansson to escape.
Johansson dodges the ground and pound from Dyrdek. Dyrdek lands an elbow. Johansson managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Dyrdek.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Johansson can do anything to dispel that myth. Johansson is not content to let Dyrdek control the position. Sloppy strikes there by Dyrdek. The strikes coming from Dyrdek are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Dyrdek throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Dyrdek is putting a hurting on Johansson here, landing some big shots from side control. Dyrdek scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Johansson to see if he's OK.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dyrdek tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Dyrdek tries to move to mount but Johansson blocks the move with his legs. Dyrdek creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Johansson sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Dyrdek controls the position. Dyrdek misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Johansson avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Dyrdek. Johansson is looking to control Dyrdek's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Johansson avoid being mounted?
That's three minutes gone in the round. Johansson is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Dyrdek scores with a couple of nice shots. Johansson on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Johansson pushes Dyrdek off looking to stand but Dyrdek dives back in and keeps control.
Johansson is not content to let Dyrdek control the position. Dyrdek looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Johansson is trying to get back to full guard. Dyrdek has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Dyrdek with shots to the head and body - Johansson looks very uncomfortable down there. Dyrdek has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Dyrdek throwing strikes but Johansson recovers to half guard. A much better position. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Dyrdek connects with a nice short shot to Johansson's temple. This has been an exciting period of action! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Nice strikes from Dyrdek there. Dyrdek seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rob Dyrdek dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

No damage this time. Rob Dyrdek overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Dyrdek accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Johansson pulls Dyrdek in close to prevent any damage. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dyrdek is looking to work some ground and pound but Johansson has wrist control. Dyrdek throws an elbow that misses. Johansson uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Dyrdek's guard. Nice move by Johansson! Dyrdek had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Johansson defends it easily. Johansson postures up.
Dyrdek wants to hit a switch here but Johansson passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Dyrdek there!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dyrdek is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Dyrdek is in all sorts of trouble here.
Dyrdek manages to regain half guard. Good work. Dyrdek is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Johansson pulls his head out easily. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Johansson is pressing down on Dyrdek's thigh, looking to free his foot. Dyrdek is holding on for now. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rob Dyrdek dominated that second round. That's time! Dyrdek's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
Dyrdek has his takedown stuffed and Johansson counters with a one-two to the body. Dyrdek gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Johansson connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Jens Johansson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Dyrdek misses the shot to the body. Dyrdek tries for a takedown but Johansson sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rob Dyrdek. That's going to take a lot out of him. Dyrdek has his takedown stuffed and Johansson counters with a one-two to the body.
Dyrdek is rocked! Johansson knocks out Dyrdek with a massive right hand! The ref tackles Johansson before he can follow up with any more strikes and that's it everyone. Johansson picks up the big W with a huge KO!
