The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clive checks a leg kick.

Hayes checks the leg kick nicely there.

Hayes cracks Clive with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Clive lands a leg kick that knocks Hayes off balance momentarily.

Ouch! a nice leg kick from Clive, right into the meat.

Hayes throws the kick towards the body but Clive avoids it.

Clive uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Hayes.
Hayes fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Clive has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Clive takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Some bone on bone action there as Hayes checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Clive blocks the body kick.
Hayes takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
A nice leg kick lands there from Hayes.
Hayes throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
A low kick from Clive is predictable there
and Hayes counters with a right hand to the body.
Clive throws a leg kick but Hayes checks it.
Hayes fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Hayes chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Clive can pounce on him.
Hayes throws a push kick but Clive slaps the foot to one side.
Clive throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Hayes misses with a low kick.
Hayes throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Clive checks the leg kick.
Clive tries a head kick but it misses.
Hayes fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Clive manages to avoid it.
Clive uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Hayes.
Good leg kick by Hayes there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Clive throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Clive avoids a punch combination nicely.
Hayes connects with a looping right hand.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Hayes.
Hayes scores with a crisp jab that stopped Clive in his tracks.
Clive pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Hayes cracks a nice hook into Clive's ribs.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Clive slaps away a takedown attempt from Hayes, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Gildarts Clive is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Clive takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Clive is rocked!
Hayes fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Clive looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Clive is still on wobbly legs! Can Hayes finish him?
Hayes with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Hayes seems to be stalking Clive here. He circles momentarily and then unleashes a devastatic head kick! Clive drops like a stone, out cold! WOW! Are you kidding me!? What a knockout!
