Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Gerardo Del Muro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Henric Andersen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Andersen has chosen Sultans Of Swing as his entrance music. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Gerardo Del Muro! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
16 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Henric Andersen! The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Luis Engracia and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Del Muro clinches with his opponent.
A head punch on the inside from Del Muro fails to land. Andersen is looking for a takedown. Andersen prevents a body shot from Del Muro. Andersen is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Del Muro is trying to break the clinch but Andersen is controlling him. Andersen turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Andersen manages to end up in side control. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Andersen throwing shots but missing, from side control. Del Muro parries the strikes from Andersen easily there. Andersen is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Del Muro to escape.
Andersen fails to land a wild elbow strike.
A lull in the action here as Andersen stalls from top position. Del Muro on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Andersen scoring with punches from side control. Del Muro knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Andersen on the ground. Andersen trying to control the position but Del Muro is working away. Andersen wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Del Muro, who protects the arm well. Andersen in side control, throwing shots but Del Muro defends. Andersen working the ground and pound but Del Muro is defending the strikes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Andersen trying to control the position but Del Muro is working away. Andersen takes a little break here. Del Muro wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. Andersen wants to lay and pray for a moment but Del Muro keeps working. Andersen is trying to ground and pound but Del Muro uses the momentary lack of control by Andersen to regain half guard. Andersen misses with a head shot. Del Muro uses the momentum to regain guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Andersen throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Del Muro works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Andersen postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Andersen is pushing down on Del Muro's leg trying to pass to half guard. Del Muro is fighting to maintain full guard but Andersen has managed to sneak the leg through. Del Muro is staying active underneath Andersen, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Andersen thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Andersen sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Del Muro defending well though. Andersen takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Del Muro wants to improve his position but Andersen is controlling well.
Andersen is trying to work for a kimura but Del Muro is defending well.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Henric Andersen dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Andersen has managed to clinch.
Andersen tries to pull guard but Del Muro won't allow it.

That's one minute gone in the round. Del Muro dodges the ground and pound from Andersen. Andersen wants to lay and pray for a moment but Del Muro keeps working. Andersen has hold of Del Muro's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Del Muro seems comfortable defending it but Andersen has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Del Muro is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Del Muro is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Andersen couldn't care less - he's delighted!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:22 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Henric Andersen! A relieved looking Henric Andersen thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
