Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ironman Destruction (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Josh Schmidt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Schmidt comes into a darkened arena with his song building. The Show Goes on kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Josh Schmidt is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ironman Destruction! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Josh Schmidt! The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Donatello Bradman and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Destruction tries to close the distance and clinch but Schmidt swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Destruction takes the fight into the clinch. Schmidt tries to pull guard but Destruction holds him up against the cage and eventually Schmidt drops back down to his feet.
Destruction pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Destruction throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
It looks like Josh Schmidt has been cut. No luck for Schmidt with that takedown attempt. Schmidt dives in and grabs Destruction's left leg, looking for a takedown. Destruction pushes down on Schmidt's head and hops out. Ironman Destruction has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Josh Schmidt. Schmidt misses with a takedown attempt - Destruction sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Destruction tries to close the distance and clinch but Schmidt swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Schmidt looks for a takedown but Destruction sprawls well. Destruction goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
That's one minute gone in the round. Destruction moves into the clinch. Schmidt tries to pull guard but Destruction won't allow it.
Destruction's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Destruction jumps guard and drags Schmidt to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Destruction looking to hit a scissor sweep but Schmidt is one step ahead there. Schmidt trying to control but Destruction is working from the bottom. Schmidt is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Schmidt sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Destruction's guard. Schmidt in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Destruction tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Schmidt!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Josh Schmidt! Josh Schmidt decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
