Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vinicius Murilo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matthew Crusher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Vinicius Murilo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Matthew Crusher! The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Roger Salmon and Josh West.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Crusher lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Murilo fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Crusher avoids it really well and circles away. Murilo throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Crusher stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Crusher wants it to stay on the feet. Crusher wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Crusher closes the distance and clinches. Murilo misses with a punch to the body.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Crusher breaks the clinch.
Crusher throws out a powerful jab. Murilo throws a shot from downtown. Crusher moves away and avoids it.
That's one minute gone in the round. A punch lands to the side of Murilo 's head but he takes it in his stride. Crusher misses with an uppercut. Murilo saw that one coming. Crusher throws a series of punches but Murilo avoids them all with ease. Murilo shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Crusher pinned against the cage. Crusher gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Vinicius Murilo. That's going to take a lot out of him. Crusher swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Murilo uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Crusher.
Crusher lands a jab to the nose. Murilo is breathing heavily. Crusher scores with a jab to the jaw. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Crusher thuds his right hand into Murilo's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Crusher takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Crusher shoots in for a takedown but Murilo shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Crusher swings for the body but Murilo moves out of range.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Murilo wants to clinch and Crusher counters with a lovely straight right hand! Crusher looks to score with a jab to the body but Murilo is just out of range. Crusher lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Crusher. Crusher shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Crusher sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Murilo's guard. Crusher lands with a punch from half guard. Murilo taking some punishment here, with Crusher in his half guard. Crusher scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Crusher controlling the pace.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Crusher escapes and gets back to his feet. Crusher lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

A jab from Crusher does it's job there. Crusher dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Crusher stuns Murilo with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Crusher rushes Murilo and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Crusher lands a body punch in the clinch. A short right from Crusher on the inside.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Crusher has had enough of the clinch but Murilo keeps him there for the moment. Crusher tries to circle away but Murilo has him pinned against the cage. This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Murilo. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery. Crusher works on Murilo's body with a couple of short punches. Crusher stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Crusher wants to get back to striking at distance but Murilo won't allow it.
Murilo is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Crusher pulls him back up using the underhooks. The referee is keeping an eye on Crusher - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Crusher lands with a light punch inside. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Murilo keeps control of Crusher as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Crusher has had enough of the clinch but Murilo keeps him there for the moment. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Matthew Crusher dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Crusher throws out a loose jab but Murilo uses good head movement to avoid it. Crusher lands with a shot to the body. Crusher closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Murilo is trying to force a seperation but Crusher has the dominant position. Murilo has had enough of the clinch but Crusher keeps him there for the moment. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Good body shot from Crusher.

Murilo tries to move into range but Crusher moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Vinicius Murilo is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Crusher scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Crusher connects with the punch. Crusher has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Murilo drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Murilo doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Murilo shoots and misses and Crusher counters by moving into the clinch. Murilo is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Vinicius Murilo. That's going to take a lot out of him. Crusher is trying to break free.

Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Crusher walks away with a smile on his face. Murilo gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Murilo gets cracked there but stands up to it.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Crusher lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Murilo backwards. Murilo is looking for a takedown. A short uppercut from Crusher. Crusher's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Crusher fails to land with a series of punches.
Crusher tries to bum rush Murilo with a series of wild strikes but Murilo uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Crusher, as that shot connected.

Matthew Crusher showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Crusher bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Murilo fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Crusher manages to avoid it. Murilo looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that. Murilo closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Crusher works his way to full guard. Good work. Crusher throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
Crusher has control of Murilo's left arm, preventing Murilo from doing any damage. Crusher lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Murilo! Crusher controlling the pace for now. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Murilo wants to control but Crusher is having none of it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Crusher controlling the pace for now. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Let's hope that Crusher has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Crusher lands with some strikes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Crusher controlling the pace for now. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Crusher's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Murilo tries to get out of the position. Crusher landing punches. Crusher lands a big elbow. Matthew Crusher has got the better of the ground game so far. Crusher controlling from the full mount. Crusher with good strikes from the mount here!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Crusher content just to control the position here. Murilo takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Crusher has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. A nice elbow there by Crusher. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Crusher looking to control and managing it successfully. Vinicius Murilo has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Crusher is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Murilo is forced to tap! Great finish!
