Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tanvir Ahmed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Manny Turner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Turner fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Ahmed shoots in but no luck this time.
Turner shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Ahmed as he jumps to the side.

Turner shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Turner wants to pass to mount but Ahmed is defending the position.
Ahmed wants to control but Turner is keeping busy.
Turner with the ground and pound but Ahmed uses the opportunity to regain guard.
Turner wants to stand but Ahmed is controlling his posture from full guard.

Turner decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Ahmed, up you get!

Turner is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Ahmed's half guard.
Ahmed is looking to improve his position.

Turner is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Ahmed sees it coming and defends easily.
Turner thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Ahmed's head.
Ahmed could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Turner is stalling here. Ahmed is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Turner seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Ahmed has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
Turner is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
You can see the frustration on Turner's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Ahmed decides to stand up, so the ref orders Turner to his feet.

Turner shoots in for a double leg but Ahmed sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Tanvir Ahmed has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Manny Turner.
Ahmed shoots and misses
and Turner counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Ahmed gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Turner wants to stand but Ahmed has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Turner postures up and lands a big shot to Ahmed's brow.
Ahmed is wriggling around but Turner manages to pass to half guard.
Ahmed is trying to control but can't.

Ahmed wants to get back to full guard.
Ahmed is staying active underneath Turner, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Ahmed might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Turner seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Ahmed is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
