Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Neil Hill! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Alan Storm! The judges for this bout are William Peck, Ian Loll and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hill lands a big head kick that sends Storm tumbling to the mat! Hill takes a step backwards and waves Storm back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Storm is rocked!
It looks like Alan Storm has been cut. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Storm throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Storm is still on wobbly legs! Can Hill finish him? Hill tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Storm manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Hill throws a sloppy head kick and Storm moves out of range easily. Storm seems to have recovered his senses. Storm circles away from the clinch attempt.
Hill tries to clinch up. Hill closes the distance and pushes Storm back into the cage. Storm jumps guard but Hill turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Storm tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Hill smiles and moves away.
Hill fails with an attempt to clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hill moves in looking to clinch but Storm pushes him off. Hill throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Hill wants to clinch up but Storm keeps it at a distance. Hill tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Storm manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Hill misses with a body kick. Storm throws a series of punches but Hill moves out of range. Hill tries to clinch but Storm is having none of it. Hill gets in close and instigates a clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Storm manages to pull guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Hill trying to stand up but can't free himself from Storm's guard.

We're going to have a standup here because Neil Hill wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Storm misses with a combination
and Hill counters with a body kick. Hill moves in looking to clinch but Storm pushes him off. Storm swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Hill moves into the clinch. Storm jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Hill walks away with a smile on his face. Storm gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Neil Hill has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alan Storm. Hill tries to clinch and Storm counters with a one-two to the body.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Storm throws a combination that misses and Hill counters with a slapping leg kick. Storm looks gassed! Hill has taken the fight to the clinch.
Hill is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Storm is defending well for now. Storm is trying to pull guard but Hill has him pressed against the cage. Hill breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Hill lands with a slapping head kick. This has been an exciting period of action! Hill wants to clinch. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Hill tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Storm throws a right and a left that both miss. Storm on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Storm circles away from the clinch attempt.
Hill tries a head kick but it misses.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Hill clinches up against the cage. Storm tries to pull guard but Hill holds him up against the cage and eventually Storm drops back down to his feet.

That's one minute gone in the round. Storm is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Hill tries to stand but Storm is controlling from the bottom. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Neil Hill. Hill throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hill throws a head kick that misses. Hill throws a nice head kick!
That has opened up Alan Storm's cut even more. Hill pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Storm looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Sloppy strikes from Storm. Those never looked like landing. Storm avoids the head kick by Hill.

Hill tries to land a leg kick but Storm saw it coming and moves away.

and Hill counters with a good low kick that Storm was not able to check. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Storm tries to keep at a distance but Hill has taken the fight into the clinch. Storm tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Hill is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Storm can do to turn this around? Storm jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back.
