Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Xavier Stone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tom Dwan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Aleksandr Martynov and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stone shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Dwan's guard.

Dwan drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Dwan jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Dwan is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Stone is on top in guard.
Stone has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Stone decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Stone drops an elbow to the side of Dwan's head.
Well, if Stone is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Dwan moves out of range of the body kick from Stone.
Dwan throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Stone tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Dwan is in Stone's guard.
Stone bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Dwan's guard.

Dwan gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

and Stone counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Stone's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Dwan gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Stone to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Stone wants to control from the top but Dwan keeps moving.

Stone tries to get the hooks in deep but Dwan pushed the leg off.
Stone scores with punches to the body.
Stone has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Dwan's body.
Dwan is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Stone gets his way!
Stone is trying to stick to Dwan's back but Dwan is turning into Stone. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Stone's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Dwan.

Well Stone has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
