Silva throws a right hand that Wagner ducks under and follows up with a left that Wagner also avoids with ease.
Silva throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Silva misses with a two punch combination.

Wagner drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Wagner in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Wagner cracks Silva with an elbow. That is naaassty.
Silva manages to get back to half guard.
Wagner slips a nice elbow through Silva's hands, connecting with Silva's forehead.
Wagner winds up and cracks Silva with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Wagner has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Wagner scores with a big shot! Silva's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Silva! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!
