Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Devon Cassino!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Don Soya!
The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Josh West and Micheangelo Fripello.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cassino shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Soya as he avoids it easily.
Cassino tries to score a power double leg takedown but Soya sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Cassino somewhat.

Soya dives in and scores a takedown into Cassino's guard.
Soya slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Soya lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Soya engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
It looks like Soya might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Don Soya hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Cassino lands a nice looking body shot.
Soya tries to clinch but Cassino moves out of range.
Soya wants to clinch up but Cassino keeps it at a distance.
Cassino tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Soya paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Soya doesn't manage to clinch there - Cassino circles away.

Soya throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Cassino was covering up waiting for the punch and Soya finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Cassino can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Soya controls the pace.
Soya postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

Soya connects with a couple of short punches.
Soya sitting in guard here, content to control.
Cassino is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Soya drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Soya seems to have locked his on tight now - Cassino screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Soya, as he picks up the win!
