The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Neil fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.

Semenov moves into range and clinches up with Neil.
Neil tries to stall but Semenov uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Semenov drags the fight down to the ground.

Semenov looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Semenov not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Semenov will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Semenov thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Neil won't allow Semenov to sweep him here.

Semenov is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Neil is aware though and is defending well.
Semenov is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
