Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Brad Mullins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nagasta Bagamba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bagamba has chosen System of a down - Chop Suey as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Brad Mullins!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Nagasta Bagamba!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Johanna Lukiainen and Marco Blurström.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mullins tries to clinch up.
Mullins throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Bagamba's waist but Bagamba gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Mullins off to one side.

Bagamba pushes Mullins up against the ropes in a clinch.
Bagamba wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Mullins is trying to break the clinch but Bagamba has him pressed against the ropes.
Bagamba has had enough of the clinch but Mullins keeps him there for the moment.
Bagamba can't get the takedown.

Mullins tries to break the clinch but Bagamba is controlling the position.
Bagamba wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Bagamba escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Bagamba tries to land a front kick but Mullins steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Bagamba feints and as Mullins raises his hands in defense, Bagamba changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Mullins has Bagamba pulled in close to control his posture.

Mullins throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Bagamba is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Bagamba trying to control but Mullins is working from the bottom.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Bagamba wants to pass the guard but Mullins is keeping the position.
Bagamba controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Mullins looking for a sweep. Not yet Mullins, not yet.

Mullins working for a triangle but Bagamba defends it easily.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Mullins trying to keep a closed guard but Bagamba is proving a slippery customer.
Mullins is breathing heavily.
Bagamba wants to stand and escape but instead Mullins has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Mullins stops Bagamba from standing up.
Bagamba wants to get back to his feet but Mullins passes into half guard.
Mullins trying to pass the guard but Bagamba defending well.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Bagamba tries to roll over but Mullins keeps him under control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Nagasta Bagamba will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Mullins doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Bagamba counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Nagasta Bagamba seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mullins takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

Mullins scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Mullins is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Bagamba has managed to free his arm - good work.
Bagamba wants to get back to his feet.

Bagamba has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Mullins is working away from the top position though.
Mullins performing his best blanket impression for a moment.

Bagamba is defending against the submission attempts here by Mullins.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Bagamba is trying to stand.
Bagamba scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Mullins manages to mount him!
Bagamba tries to reverse the position but Mullins maintains control.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Bagamba wants to control but Mullins is having none of it.
Mullins wants to control the pace but Bagamba is squirming around nicely.

Mullins looking to secure an arm triangle but Bagamba defends it well.
Bagamba reaches up to try and control the position but Mullins seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Bagamba rolls and tries to escape and now Mullins has his back!

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Bagamba is trying to break free.
Mullins controlling the position well here. Bagamba rolled but Mullins kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Mullins keeps control of the position as Bagamba tries to break free.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!


Bagamba moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Mullins tries for a takedown but Bagamba circles away easily

and Bagamba counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Mullins makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Mullins.
Mullins keeping moving, preventing Bagamba from controlling successfully.
Bagamba really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mullins. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Bagamba wants to stand but Mullins is controlling his posture from full guard.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Bagamba avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Bagamba trying to control the position from guard on top but Mullins is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Mullins holds on and takes a little breather.

Mullins is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Bagamba rolls with it to try and escape but Mullins cranks on the arm and Bagamba is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:02 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Brad Mullins!
