The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maher fails with the takedown.
Maher looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Sloop is fending him off so far but Maher persists. Nope, Sloop circles away and we're back to standing.

and Sloop counters with a stiff right hand.

Sloop swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Maher looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

It looks like David Maher has been cut.

Sloop closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Maher's guard.
Maher looking for a triangle here. Sloop is fighting it but it looks tight! Maher pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Sloop is tapping out - this one is all over!
