Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jake Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jake Miller!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, David Johnson!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Miller drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

That was a close round but I would say that Jake Miller will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Miller tries to score a power double leg takedown but Johnson sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Miller somewhat.

Miller fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Johnson to the ground. Miller is now in Johnson's guard.
Miller stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Johnson swivels though and keeps the full guard.

That was a close second round but I would say that Jake Miller will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Miller enables Johnson to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Miller manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Miller will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
