Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Stevenson Job (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wayne Shamrock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shamrock is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Hybrid Conscious . Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Stevenson Job! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Wayne Shamrock! The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Shigeki Sano and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Shamrock gets the takedown into side control. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Shamrock is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Job can't do much from the bottom here. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Job is positioning himself to get back to half guard. You can see the frustration on Job's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Job is looking to reverse the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Shamrock controlling from side mount. Job is looking for a sweep. Job is not content to let Shamrock control the position. Job being controlled for a moment.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Wayne Shamrock wasn't active enough on the ground. Job gets caught flat footed, as Shamrock shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Shamrock stays in close to Job's body and controls the position. Shamrock preventing the sweep. Job managing to control the position. Job is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Shamrock trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Shamrock walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Job checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Shamrock tries to keep at a distance but Job has taken the fight into the clinch. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Job jumps guard but Shamrock turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Shamrock struggles to land a body shot inside as Job controls his hands.
Shamrock tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Job jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Shamrock walks away with a smile on his face. Job gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Shamrock swings away with a leg kick that misses. Shamrock is looking to score with low kicks. Shamrock closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Shamrock lands in his opponent's guard. Job keeping moving, preventing Shamrock from controlling successfully. Job controls Shamrock momentarily but Shamrock frees himself. Shamrock really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Job. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Shamrock gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Job has managed to clinch.
Shamrock manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Job has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Shamrock after a bit of a struggle. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Stevenson Job. That's going to take a lot out of him. Shamrock misses with a hook from the clinch. Job tries to pull guard but Shamrock holds him up against the cage and eventually Job drops back down to his feet.
Shamrock is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Job has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Shamrock after a bit of a struggle. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Wayne Shamrock dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Shamrock closes the distance and pushes Job back into the cage. Shamrock gets a trip takedown into half guard. Job is not content to let Shamrock control the position. Shamrock performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Let's hope that Shamrock has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Job is trying to defend but Shamrock finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Shamrock prevents Job from improving his position.
That's one minute gone in the round. The fighters are battling for position here. Job manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Job looking for a sweep. Not yet Job, not yet. Shamrock trying to control the position from guard on top but Job is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Shamrock stays in close to Job's body and controls the position. Wayne Shamrock has got the better of the ground game so far. Shamrock stopping the sweep attempt from Job. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Job is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Shamrock defends well. Shamrock trying to control the position from guard on top but Job is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Wayne Shamrock has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Shamrock gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Job is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Shamrock gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Shamrock displaying some good clinch control by pressing Job up against the cage. Job doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Shamrock turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Shamrock manages to end up in side control. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Job wants to control but Shamrock postures up. Job tries to bench press Shamrock off him but Shamrock keeps the position. Job is not content to let Shamrock control the position. Shamrock working away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Shamrock wants to stand but Job has his arm trapped. Job tries to improve position but can't. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Job sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Job tries to get to full guard but Shamrock has control of the leg. Job manages to get to full guard.

Shamrock slips nicely into half guard. Shamrock is looking to take a break and control but Job is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Shamrock is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Job still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Job has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work! This has been an exciting period of action! Shamrock gets back to half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Wayne Shamrock showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Shamrock trying to mount his opponent but Job defends it. Job regains full guard. Nicely done. Shamrock controlling from the top position. Job has his foot on Shamrock's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Shamrock works his way back into a safe position though. Job looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Job keeping full guard, as Shamrock tries to pass.

Shamrock looking to sit in guard and control but Job gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Job wants to pass the guard but Shamrock is keeping the position. Job loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Shamrock is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Job wants to control from the top but Shamrock keeps moving. Shamrock not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Wayne Shamrock. Job clinches up against the cage. Job fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Shamrock gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. Shamrock is looking to pass Job's guard but actually Job recovers to full guard. Job is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Job working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Shamrock doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Job is tightening it up a little... Shamrock has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Shamrock reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Shamrock taps out! Nice BJJ there by Job!
