Slyker kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is It's Amazing by Kanye West. Thunders is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Ain't That A Kick In The Head by Dean Martin. Cain Slyker could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Johnny Thunders's chin.

Thunders throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Slyker's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Thunders dives in looking to finish as Slyker flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Thunders's strikes! Thunders is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Slyker's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Slyker was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.
