Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Isno Good! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tap Out! The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Lou da Vinci and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Good cracks Out with a good jab. Good throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
A punch combination from Good misses. Good shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Out dodges the punch combination from Good.
Out shoots for a double leg takedown but Good sprawls well. He's pushed Out's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Isno Good seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Good misses with a jab, cross combination.
A head kick misses from Good. Good pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Out swats away the attempt to clinch by Good. Out ducks under a wild hook from Good.
That's one minute gone in the round. Both fighters circling a little - Good finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. Good closes this distance looking for a takedown but Out circles away. Good throws a wild body kick that Out sees coming a mile off. Good moves to clinch but Out breaks away and Out decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Good's guard. Out is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Out connects with a couple of short punches. Out passes Good's left leg - he's now in half guard. Out stalling.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. The fighters are battling for position here. Good manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Good is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Out slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. It looks like Out might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Out advances to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Good trying to control but Out postures up.
Out is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Out is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Out connects with a nice short shot to Good's temple. Good is trying to maintain the position but Out is very close to passing his half guard. Good really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Out landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Good is in trouble now - Out has advanced to mount! Out unloading with bombs! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Out looking to control and managing it successfully. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Out scoring with strikes but Good is staying in there. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Out controlling his opponent. Good takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tap Out dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Out closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Good misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Out controlling the action here. Good is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Out pulls his head out easily. Out works his foot free and advances to mount. Out tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Out lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Good hang on? Good wants to hold on but Out pushes him away. Out tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. A nice elbow there by Out. Out looking to finish Good with some ground and pound. This is bad for Good! Out controlling the position easily from mount. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Out is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Good can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Good is rocked!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Good swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing. Out lands a heavy elbow. Oh Good is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Out has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Out with a couple of short strikes. Out looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Good covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!
