Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Geezer Lynnot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kevin Nelson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Geezer Lynnot looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Kevin Nelson!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Winston Howard and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nelson plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
It looks like Geezer Lynnot has been cut.
Lynnot looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Lynnot tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Lynnot tries to keep at a distance but Nelson has taken the fight into the clinch.
Nelson has Lynnot pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Nelson pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Lynnot tumbling to the mat - Nelson dives into Lynnot's guard.
Nelson wants to pass the guard but Lynnot is keeping the position.
Lynnot knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Nelson on the ground.

Nelson is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Nelson uses his free foot to push down on Lynnot's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Lynnot.
Nelson can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Lynnot is looking to escape.

A less than humble Kevin Nelson misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
