Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bittor Xavier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johny Hendricks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Xavier comes to the cage accompanied by Jane's Addiction- Mountain Song. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Gregory Folan and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hendricks tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Xavier was well out of range. Poor timing from Hendricks.
Hendricks shoots in and bounces Xavier off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Hendricks not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Hendricks got a little sloppy there for a moment and Xavier has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Hendricks has managed to get both his arms back between Xavier's legs - danger averted.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Xavier has hold of Hendricks's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Hendricks manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
