Marshall comes to the cage accompanied by I Shot the Sheriff by Eric Clapton. Suan Paredes has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Riley Marshall's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

8 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Suan Paredes!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, William Peck and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Paredes uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Marshall.
Paredes looks for a takedown but Marshall sprawls well.
Marshall throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Paredes counters with a nice uppercut.
Paredes is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Marshall's half guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Paredes accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Paredes throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Marshall works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Marshall preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Paredes lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Paredes loads up on a big left hand. Marshall felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Paredes looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Marshall can't hide his disappointment, as Paredes celebrates the victory.
