Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jose Santz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Todd Todd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Todd comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Wolfmother-Woman kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Todd Todd has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Daniel Franklin and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Todd gets a takedown into half guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Santz makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Santz.
Todd working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Todd throws a big right hand that misses.
Santz will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Todd wanted to stand there but Santz had control of the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Todd stands up over Santz, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Santz really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Todd drops back, looking for a kneebar! Santz looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Santz looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Santz!
