Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Donnie Wall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wrestle Wrestle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wall comes to the cage accompanied by Rolling Stones- Gimme Shelter. Wrestle Wrestle has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Donnie Wall!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Wrestle Wrestle!
The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Luis Engracia and Thiago Cunha.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wall has Wrestle up against the cage in a clinch.
Wrestle tries to land a knee to the head but misses.

Wrestle drags the fight down to the ground.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Wrestle keeping full guard, as Wall tries to pass.
Wrestle preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

Wrestle throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Wrestle is on top in guard.

Wall is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Wrestle wants to control from the top but Wall keeps moving.

Wall has his foot on Wrestle's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Wrestle works his way back into a safe position though.

Wrestle won't allow Wall to sweep him here.
Wrestle looking to pass the guard.
Wrestle thows a big elbow that misses.
Wall manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Wrestle manages to get himself to full guard.

Wrestle wants to sweep here but Wall controlling him for the moment.
Wall pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Wrestle is keeping the position for now.
Wrestle not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Donnie Wall has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Wrestle Wrestle.
Wrestle has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Wrestle takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Wrestle avoids a punch combination nicely.
Wall scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Wrestle shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Wall pinned against the cage. Wall gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Wall fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

Wrestle drops his hands momentarily and Wall takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Wrestle takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Wrestle closes this distance looking for a takedown but Wall circles away.
Wrestle fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Wall scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Wrestle wants to control but Wall postures up.
Wall postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Wrestle sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.

Wall scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Wrestle has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Wall is working away from the top position though.
Wall working Wrestle over with strikes.
Wrestle trying to control here.
Wall trying to mount his opponent but Wrestle defends it.
Wrestle punching from the bottom.
Wrestle slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.

Wrestle had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Wall is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Wrestle Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Wall's back instead.
Wall tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Donnie Wall dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Wrestle tries for a takedown but Wall circles away easily

and Wall counters by moving into the clinch.
Wrestle tries to stall but Wall uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Wrestle is pressed up against the cage. Wall has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Wrestle down to the mat. Wrestle avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Wrestle fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Wall sprawls well initially but Wrestle persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Wall wants to get back to full guard.
Wall is pressing down on Wrestle's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Wall tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Wrestle looking to pass the guard.
Wrestle works over Wall with some ground and pound from guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Wrestle forces his way into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Wall works his way to full guard. Good work.
Wall wants to sweep but no luck.

Wrestle is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Wall will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Wrestle passes Wall's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Wrestle is nestled in close to Wall, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Wall is refusing to be controlled, as Wrestle sits in half guard.

Wrestle is looking for a kimura but Wall is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Wrestle to get the leverage.
Wrestle passes to full mount!
Wall is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Wrestle tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Wrestle trying to control but Wall is having none of it.
Wall is in all sorts of trouble here.
Wrestle breaks from Wall's wrist control and lands an elbow.

Wrestle is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Wall is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
