Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Al Bundy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Worrell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bundy comes to the cage accompanied by Bad to The Bone. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
25 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Al Bundy! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Peter Worrell! The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Trevor Gratis and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bundy shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Worrell sprawls well. Worrell wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Bundy gets slowly back to his feet. Worrell swings for the body but Bundy moves out of range.
Bundy throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Worrell tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Bundy is in Worrell's guard. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Worrell trying to control the position here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Worrell wants to sweep but no luck. Bundy loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Worrell is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Worrell is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Peter Worrell has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Bundy shoots in for a takedown but Worrell shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. That's going to take a lot out of him. Worrell checks a leg kick. Jab, jab by Worrell - just one landing. Peter Worrell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Worrell gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Bundy fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Worrell, pushing him back against the cage. Worrell gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Bundy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bundy tries to pull guard but Worrell holds him up against the cage and eventually Bundy drops back down to his feet.

Worrell throws a low kick but Bundy moves out of range easily. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Worrell pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. A momentary lapse in concentration from Worrell enables Bundy to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Worrell manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Bundy postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Worrell has control of Bundy's left arm, preventing Bundy from doing any damage. Worrell is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Bundy is looking for a sweep. Worrell is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Worrell performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Bundy actively working from the bottom here. Worrell stalling. Bundy is trying to get back to full guard. Worrell trying to control the pace.

Worrell seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Bundy does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Peter Worrell wasn't active enough on the ground. Worrell feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Bundy's calf. Worrell throws the kick towards the body but Bundy avoids it. Worrell throws a poor cross that misses
and Bundy connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Bundy shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Worrell napping and manages to drive through into side control! This has been an exciting period of action! Bundy creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Worrell sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. That was a close round but I would say that Al Bundy will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Bundy steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Worrell. That one must have hurt. Bundy shoots in but Worrell avoids the takedown attempt easily. Good work by Bundy as he checks the leg kick. Worrell lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Worrell is looking to land body kicks. Bundy throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Worrell sees it coming and avoids it easily. Worrell throws a hook but Bundy blocks it. Bundy tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Worrell throws a body kick that misses. Worrell jabs Bundy to the body, keeping him at a distance. Bundy moves in looking to clinch but Worrell pushes him off. Worrell scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Worrell uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Bundy. Worrell throws a series of punches but Bundy moves out of range.

Worrell loads up on a big right hand but Bundy slips the punch. Worrell looking to land some kicks to the body here.

Worrell jabs Bundy right on the nose. Bundy blinks but takes it well. Worrell feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Bundys jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Worrell jabbing away but nothing is landing. Bundy decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Worrell blocking the ground and pound attempt from Bundy. Bundy lands strikes from half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Worrell is trying is best to control the position here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Bundy looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Bundy is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Can Worrell avoid being mounted? Bundy wants to lay and pray for a moment but Worrell keeps working. Bundy wants to pass the guard but Worrell is defending well. Bundy is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Worrell sees it coming and defends easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bundy not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Bundy throwing shots but Worrell is blocking nicely. Bundy thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Worrell preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head. Al Bundy overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Bundy trying to mount his opponent but Worrell defends it. Bundy is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Peter Worrell. Worrell's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Bundy connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Worrell scrambles back to his feet. Bundy bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Bundy throwing strikes but missing, from side control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Al Bundy clearly takes that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Bundy gets a clinch. Bundy is working for takedown but Worrell is calmly controlling the position for now. Bundy wants a takedown but no success here.
Worrell is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Bundy has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Worrell avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Al Bundy. That's going to take a lot out of him. Worrell lands an uppercut. A short left from Worrell. Bundy tries for a takedown but Worrell manages to get underhooks.

Bundy is trying to drag Worrell to the mat but Worrell just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. A right hook to the body lands for Worrell.

It's got to the stage where if one of these guys blows hard enough, the other might fall over. Worrell misses with some punches.

Peter Worrell dominated that fourth round. The cut man is working on Al Bundy's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Donk. Bundy catches Worrell right on the button with a cross. Bundy throws a hook to the side of Worrell's head but Worrell sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Bundy fails to land with a series of punches.
