Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rafael Van Der Hoef (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Natan Grygiel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Grygiel has chosen Sobota- Rusz dupsko na marsz as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Rafael Van Der Hoef! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Natan Grygiel! The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Albert Achterberg and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Grygiel changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Van Der Hoef tries to avoid it but Grygiel manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Van Der Hoef to the ground. Van Der Hoef escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Grygiel misses with a takedown attempt and Van Der Hoef counters with a two punch combo. Van Der Hoef stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Van Der Hoef wants it to stay on the feet. Rafael Van Der Hoef has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Natan Grygiel. Grygiel tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Van Der Hoef swivels and escapes. Grygiel closes this distance looking for a takedown but Van Der Hoef circles away. That kick from Van Der Hoef tenderised Grygiel's leg. Grygiel is trying to keep his angry face on. Grygiel with a lazy takedown attempt and Van Der Hoef counters with an outside leg kick.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Van Der Hoef lands a nice hook to Grygiel's body. Grygiel takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Grygiel is defended easily by Van Der Hoef. Grygiel looks gassed! A decent looking cross lands there for Van Der Hoef. Van Der Hoef scores with a sloppy right hand. Grygiel should have avoided that one.
It looks like Natan Grygiel has been cut. Grygiel feints and as Van Der Hoef raises his hands in defense, Grygiel changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Van Der Hoef looking for a sweep. Not yet Van Der Hoef, not yet. Van Der Hoef utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Grygiel passes into half guard. Van Der Hoef is trying to control but can't.
The fighters are battling for position here. Van Der Hoef manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Van Der Hoef has control of Grygiel's left arm, preventing Grygiel from doing any damage. Van Der Hoef is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Grygiel is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Grygiel stopping the sweep attempt from Van Der Hoef.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Grygiel in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Van Der Hoef is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Grygiel pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Van Der Hoef is keeping the position for now. Grygiel wants to control from the top but Van Der Hoef keeps moving. Van Der Hoef is trying to control the position from the bottom.
We're going to have a standup here because Rafael Van Der Hoef wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Horrible takedown by Grygiel or perhaps it was just good defense by Van Der Hoef which made him look bad.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Van Der Hoef lands a body shot.
Grygiel fails with a takedown attempt. Grygiel closes this distance looking for a takedown but Van Der Hoef circles away. Grygiel misses with a looping right. Van Der Hoef moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Grygiel shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Van Der Hoef counters with a good low kick that Grygiel was not able to check. Grygiel fails with a takedown attempt. Van Der Hoef misses with a wild combination.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Jab by Van Der Hoef. Grygiel throws a jab but it's blocked by Van Der Hoef. Jab by Van Der Hoef. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Grygiel shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Van Der Hoef manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Grygiel wants to control from the top but Van Der Hoef keeps moving. Van Der Hoef pulls Grygiel in to control the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Grygiel wants to control from the top but Van Der Hoef keeps moving. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Grygiel stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Van Der Hoef swivels though and keeps the full guard. Van Der Hoef is trying to keep Grygiel in close.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rafael Van Der Hoef dominated that round. The cut man is working on Natan Grygiel's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Grygiel slips a jab from Van Der Hoef. Van Der Hoef shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Grygiel eats them both and turns towards Van Der Hoef to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Grygiel closes the distance and clinches up with Van Der Hoef, looking for a takedown. Grygiel pushes Van Der Hoef against the cage but Van Der Hoef circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Grygiel shoots in for a double leg but Van Der Hoef sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Grygiel shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Van Der Hoef but Van Der Hoef pushes him off and we're back to square one. Rafael Van Der Hoef has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Natan Grygiel. Van Der Hoef throws a one two combo.
Van Der Hoef displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Grygiel. Grygiel takes a jab right on the kisser.
Rafael Van Der Hoef is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Van Der Hoef throws a chopping leg kick but Grygiel manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Grygiel pulls out of a head kick attempt.

That's one minute gone in the round. Grygiel misses with a takedown and Van Der Hoef counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Grygiel is breathing heavily. Van Der Hoef moves into range and throws a big uppercut. OH! Grygiel goes down! Can Van Der Hoef finish him!?
Grygiel is rocked! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Van Der Hoef arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Grygiel's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
