The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grygiel changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Van Der Hoef tries to avoid it but Grygiel manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Van Der Hoef to the ground. Van Der Hoef escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Grygiel closes the distance and clinches up with Van Der Hoef, looking for a takedown. Grygiel pushes Van Der Hoef against the cage but Van Der Hoef circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
