Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jean Montillo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Harrison Duke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Duke has chosen Keep it going louder! as his entrance music. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jean Montillo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 11 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Harrison Duke!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Alan Glass and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Montillo blocks a low kick nicely.
Montillo throws a shot to the body.
Duke throws a wild body kick that Montillo sees coming a mile off.
Duke with a hook.
Duke misses with a kick to the body.
Duke tries a low kick but Montillo avoids it.
Montillo shoots in for a takedown but Duke shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Duke checks the leg kick.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Duke looks to throw an elbow but misses.
Duke creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Montillo's defenses.


It looks like Jean Montillo has been cut.
Montillo managing to block the knees to the body from Duke.
Duke lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Montillo blocks the elbow strike.
Duke has a couple of punches blocked by Montillo.
Duke is pressed up against the cage. Montillo has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Duke down to the mat. Duke avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Harrison Duke seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Montillo moves out of range of the body kick.
Montillo scores with a jab.
Montillo lands a slapping body shot.
Duke is looking to land body kicks.
Duke connects with a solid leg kick.
Nice body kick there by Duke.
Montillo throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Duke misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Montillo takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Duke lands a nice leg kick that just misses Montillo's sensitive parts.
Duke tries to close the distance and clinch but Montillo swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Some bone on bone action there as Montillo checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Duke lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Montillo has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Montillo and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Montillo misses with an uppercut. Duke saw that one coming.
Duke with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
No joy there for Montillo, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Montillo lands a body shot.
Duke misses with a head kick.
Duke throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Montillo connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Duke scores with the left hand. Montillo knows he should have avoided that one.
Duke throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Duke misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Montillo misses with a few strikes there.
Montillo throws a right and a left that Duke avoids nicely.
Duke tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Good standup being displayed there by Montillo as he connects with a hook.
Montillo throws out a loose jab but Duke uses good head movement to avoid it.

Harrison Duke is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Duke tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Nice takedown defense from Duke. No joy for Montillo on that attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jean Montillo. That's going to take a lot out of him.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Duke connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Montillo stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Duke.
Montillo is breathing heavily.
Montillo has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

Duke moves into the clinch successfully.
Duke tries to throw a body punch but Montillo avoids it by throwing Duke back against the cage.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Duke just misses with a elbow thrown towards Montillo's brow.
Duke using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Montillo has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Montillo is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Duke pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Montillo. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

Montillo breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

and Montillo decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Duke's guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Montillo has gone for a leg lock! Duke slips out almost immediately though and dives into Montillo's guard.

Montillo has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Duke can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Duke content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.

Montillo is working an open guard so Duke takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Montillo throws a series of strikes that have Duke backpedaling.
Duke looks to land a body kick but Montillo moved away.

Montillo closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Montillo is looking to take a break and control but Duke is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Montillo ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Duke moves away.

Duke moves forwards but Montillo connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Duke tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Montillo manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Montillo feints a jab promting Duke to slip. Montillo then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Duke slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Duke throws a sloppy head kick and Montillo moves out of range easily.

That was a close second round but I would say that Jean Montillo will probably get the nod.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Duke tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Duke throws a low kick but it's checked well by Montillo.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Duke is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Duke is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Montillo is controlling him.

Montillo is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Montillo has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Montillo won't allow Duke to get back to his feet.
Duke can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Montillo controls the pace.
Montillo keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Duke's head.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Montillo is in close to Duke's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Montillo is working Duke over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Montillo cracks Duke with a solid left hand.
Duke wants to stand and escape but Montillo is having none of it.
Montillo sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Duke's guard.
Montillo moves into full mount! Duke won't be happy about that!
Montillo landing strikes from the mount and Duke is in trouble!
Duke's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Duke is rocked!
Oooooh, big shot lands for Montillo! Duke is hurt baaadly! Montillo is firing away with more strikes - Duke is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
