Rubiera's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, ratamahatta. The crowd seem to be enjoying Baramari's choice of entrance music: WOODKID - Iron. Edilson Rubiera could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Bob Baramari's chin.

27 - 25 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bob Baramari! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Tiny Johnson and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Baramari feints and then cracks Rubiera's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Rubiera down. A head kick misses from Rubiera. Rubiera is trying hard to land a takedown here. Baramari sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Rubiera misses with a low kick. Rubiera scores with a jab to the jaw. Baramari goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
It looks like Edilson Rubiera has been cut. This has been an exciting period of action! Rubiera walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Baramari checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Baramari keeps Rubiera at a distance using the push kick. Rubiera tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Baramari manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Baramari lands with a thumping leg kick.
Rubiera is breathing heavily. Baramari throws a head kick that Rubiera semi-blocks.
Baramari moves into the clinch. Baramari's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Baramari throws a nice head kick!
Baramari uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Rubiera. Rubiera chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Baramari can pounce on him.
Rubiera shoots in for a takedown but Baramari shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Baramari lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Baramari fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Rubiera. Rubiera takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. Baramari looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Baramari misses with a wild combination.
Baramari lands a leg kick that knocks Rubiera off balance momentarily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Baramari scoring well with a low kick there.
Rubiera takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Bob Baramari is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Baramari lands a big head kick that sends Rubiera tumbling to the mat! Baramari takes a step backwards and waves Rubiera back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Edilson Rubiera's cut is getting worse. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Baramari connects with a leg kick. Rubiera looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Rubiera stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Baramari. An inside leg kick lands from Baramari. A slapping body kick lands there for Baramari. Rubiera on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Rubiera misses the shot to the body. Baramari scores with a slapping inside leg kick. An inside leg kick lands from Baramari. That kick from Baramari tenderised Rubiera's leg. Rubiera is trying to keep his angry face on. Baramari lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Rubiera is rocked! Rubiera looks up at the clock. Bad move! Baramari lands a right hand from hell, dropping Rubiera. Baramari pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bob Baramari! A relieved looking Bob Baramari thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
