The bell rings for round one and we are underway! May misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
May throws a wild combination but nothing lands. May drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. May working away. Aschenbreaker sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Aschenbreaker is trying is best to control the position here. Aschenbreaker works his way to full guard. Good work. The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. May is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Aschenbreaker shoots in and drives through. May sprawls well. May ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. May rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Aschenbreaker moves out of range and avoids them all easily. May closes the distance looking to clinch and Aschenbreaker decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in May's guard. Aschenbreaker stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. May swivels though and keeps the full guard. Aschenbreaker is stalling in the full guard. May is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Aschenbreaker is controlling him. Aschenbreaker controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Aschenbreaker won't allow May to get back to his feet.

May can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Aschenbreaker controls the pace. May wants to stand but Aschenbreaker is controlling the position. Aschenbreaker wants to pass to mount but May is defending the position. Aschenbreaker is taking a breather. May says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Oleg Aschenbreaker just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. May misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Some wild striking there from May.
And that's the end of the fight! Oleg Aschenbreaker showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Aschenbreaker, winning every round. Will the judges agree?
