Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Phil Enis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tapa Rikollinen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Phil Enis! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Tapa Rikollinen! The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Anni Minnemäki and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rikollinen shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Rikollinen tries to free his leg and advance position but Enis is retaining full guard. Enis looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Enis wants to sweep here but Rikollinen controlling him for the moment. Rikollinen trying to control but Enis is working from the bottom. Rikollinen looking to pass the guard. Rikollinen pushes down on Enis's leg and manages to get into half guard. Rikollinen trying to control the action but Enis is working from the bottom. Enis wants to control but Rikollinen is keeping busy.
That's one minute gone in the round. Enis preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head. Rikollinen seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Enis does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. The fighters are battling for position here. Enis manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Rikollinen seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Enis looking to sweep here. No luck so far. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Rikollinen trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Rikollinen looking to sit in guard and control but Enis gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Rikollinen keeping moving, preventing Enis from controlling successfully. Rikollinen isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Enis stacks Rikollinen on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Enis! Rikollinen looks gassed! Enis grinds an elbow into Rikollinen's temple. Rikollinen is pushing Enis's head away, looking to escape. Enis manages to hold on to the position though. Rikollinen is trying to control Enis's posture but Enis avoids it. Enis working the head and body with strikes.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Enis looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Rikollinen is looking to regain half guard here but Enis keeps moving and retains side control. Enis wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Rikollinen, who protects the arm well. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Rikollinen is looking for a sweep. Rikollinen is trying to escape the position but Enis is controlling the position. Enis working away. Rikollinen manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Rikollinen tries to pass to full mount but Enis defends it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Enis wants to control but Rikollinen is keeping busy and won't allow it. Rikollinen wants to pass to mount but Enis is defending the position. Rikollinen is looking to stall here but Enis recovers full guard. Rikollinen being controlled here momentarily. Rikollinen looking to sit in guard and control but Enis gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Enis tries to stand but Rikollinen is controlling from the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Phil Enis will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Enis scores a takedown into full mount! Enis trying to control but Rikollinen is having none of it. Enis working Rikollinen over with strikes here. Enis avoids the attempt from Rikollinen to control. Enis prevents Rikollinen from getting the reversal. Enis can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Rikollinen is looking to escape. Rikollinen working to try and regain half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Enis trying to control but he's not successful this time. Rikollinen really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Rikollinen is breathing heavily. Enis takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Rikollinen is squirming around, avoiding Enis's attempts to control the action. Enis working Rikollinen over with strikes here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Rikollinen is trying desperately to improve position. Rikollinen is bucking up trying to escape but Enis cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Enis is trying to take his opponent's back.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Enis just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.
Enis gets his hands free as Rikollinen looks to control. A bit of a pause in the action here. Enis controlling the positon. Enis throwing damaging strikes from the back! Rikollinen could be in trouble here!
Enis throwing strikes from the back - he gets a warning from the referee for striking the back of the head but all these shots are hurting Rikollinen!

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Enis has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Rikollinen's body.
Enis is trying to stick to Rikollinen's back but Rikollinen is turning into Enis. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Enis's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Rikollinen. Enis looking to hit a scissor sweep but Rikollinen is one step ahead there. Enis throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Enis throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Rikollinen slips nicely into half guard. Enis tries to get to full guard but Rikollinen has control of the leg. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Phil Enis dominated that second round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
Enis tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Rikollinen swivels and escapes. Phil Enis is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Enis tries to clinch but Rikollinen moves out of range. Rikollinen shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Enis counters with a nice leg kick. Enis tries to close the distance and clinch but Rikollinen swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Enis misses the shot to the body. Rikollinen tries for a takedown but Enis circles away easily and Enis counters with a head kick. That will keep Rikollinen thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! Enis scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Rikollinen keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Rikollinen manages to get to full guard.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Rikollinen scores with a three punch combo!
Rikollinen misses with a takedown and Enis counters with a shoot takedown. Rikollinen fights it but they end up in guard. Phil Enis has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tapa Rikollinen. Enis stopping the sweep attempt from Rikollinen. Enis landing some decent shots from guard. Rikollinen wants to control the position but Enis says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Enis takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Rikollinen trying to control here.
Enis is taking a breather. Rikollinen says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Rikollinen wants to improve his position but Enis is controlling well.
Enis seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Rikollinen wants to get back to full guard but Enis has mounted him! Enis cracks Rikollinen with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Enis trying to control but Rikollinen is having none of it. Rikollinen is trying to reverse the position but instead Enis has taken his back - oops! Rikollinen can't escape the position.

Enis somehow managing to miss with a strike from the back. Enis misses with a punch to the head. Enis is trying to control but Rikollinen is trying to escape here - he's now mounted.
Rikollinen manages to regain half guard. Good work. Rikollinen makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Rikollinen. Tapa Rikollinen has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Rikollinen is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
And that's the end of the fight! Phil Enis showed his dominance in that final round. Well Enis has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
