The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Loco. Cat does a little dance to reset his feet.
Loco throws a body kick that misses.
Cat keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Loco.
Cat bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Loco misses with an uppercut.
Loco misses with a right hand
and Cat cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Cat slips under a jab.
Cat swats away the attempt to clinch by Loco.
Loco looks to score with a jab to the body but Cat is just out of range.
Loco throws a shot from downtown. Cat moves away and avoids it.
Cat keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Loco.
Cat lands a left and a right that send Loco crashing to the mat, dazed. Cat thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Loco is rocked!
It looks like El Loco has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Loco gets tagged by a hook that puts him to sleep! Cat points and yells something to his unconcious foe before strutting off. Loco wakes up just in time to hear Cat thank his coaches in the post fight interview.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Tom Cat!
